A1. Every person is different and most of the people undergoing acupuncture treatment report the experience of an acupuncture treatment in different ways.  

We here At East West Center for Natural Medicine have heard it described often as a tingling, grabbing, pulling, heating or numbing sensation. Once the needles are in place and the treatment has begun those feelings tend to subside and leave you in a state of extreme relaxation with a feeling of well being.

We take great care to make our clients very comfortable so that they can relax while the needles are in place. The more relaxed you are during an acupuncture treatment the better the results. Our patients even fall asleep during treatment.

Following treatment it is common to have a feeling of wellbeing as well as a tremendous sense of relaxation and calm.
